Make sure you order the right parts. The bar needs 2 caps so don't make the mistake of only ordering one. Once you push in the end caps into the retainer bar, gently insert bar into slots on door. Right parts will create a perfect fit.
Retainer bar was a little long but husband used a saw to make smaller (the part said it was a similar to my model- Maytag no longer made this made) It was perfect -- ow I have a whole new usable shelf!!

The fridge was missing the lower shelf bar on the door
The bar slipped right into a groove on each side and took less than 5 seconds.

Hello Alison, thank you for your question. The Bottom Door Shelf Retainer Bar is part PS11754563. WE do have the Freezer Door Shelf End Cap - Left or Right Side part PS11739204 that the rail mounts into. The Rail for the freezer has been discontinued. We hope this helps.
The door to the freezer has no rails or end caps on a rental unit frig…so two end caps I guess, two rights and two lefts? And the retaining bar? Can you advise?
