Broken silverware basket
My repair was very easy, actually my 6 yr old daughter completed the repair.
I opened the box and she picked the old silverware basket out of the dishwasher and handed it to me, and I handed the new basket to her and she placed it back in the dishwasher....1-2-3 completed.........

Two parts were broken.
Opened the box. Took the broken ones out of the dishwasher. Put the new ones in. My 7-year-old fixed it herself. :)

dishes not cleaned properly. bits of food, poor rinse, plates and glass not fully cleaned
First I took the baskets out. Then I removed the water spray assembly. Remove the internal parts to access the chopper assembly. The assembly was clogged and not operating. Remove the chopper, cleaned out the water delivery parts (bits of food, seeds, and other things). Chopper screen was so filled with food matter it was not usable. The chopper was not operating. Replace the chopper assemble after the part arrived. The dishwasher works like new. The silverware basked was worn out and parts of the basked were broken. The new basket works great.

You said in your answer to marilyn that dimensions for the cutlery basket are 3 x 9 x 20. My part is 3 x 9 x 19 and i can't squeeze that extra inch to fit it into the dishwasher. any ideas?

I am looking for small baskets to fir the top rack of a dishwasher for small items. I had them on my previous dishwasher ( a Kenmore made by KitchenAid) , which the installer took away for recycling without keeping these two small items. Long story...). i am looking to replace them. cant find anything online. help!
