Remove metal screws on back panel
Note position of wires by location and color on the timer.
Either draw diagram, or take very good detail photo
Use pliers to remove contacts from prongs. (This takes a little tugging.)
Remove two metal screws holding timer to frame. Note the top of the timer.
Mount the new timer to frame using two metal screws. Reconnect the wiring based on color coding. Be mindful of three male prongs that connect plastic sleeve on top. Prongs may not align properly, and slip below or above plastic frame. (Yes, that happened to me.)
Test by running dryer. Replace back panel.
