Halogen Lamp Specifications
This part is the replacement halogen lamp for your range hood. The bulb is 35 watts and 130 volts. The halogen lamp lights up the area under the range hood so you can see the cooktop more effectively in darkness. If your light bulb is burned out, this is the part that replaces it. Be sure to turn off power to your range hood before you begin this repair. This bulb is sold individually and is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

The lamp burns out occasionally
Once I got the replacement bulb, the repair was
easy. I needed to unscrew one side of the lamp assembly and pop the new bul in.
My problem was getting the right light. The local hardware store didn't carry quite the right halogen lamp and the one I bought burned out the wires that hold the light. THis was a costly repair --- about $100. So I was delighted when Part Select had the lamp I needed. They were prompt in sending it out and I was very satisfied.
