This is the replacement charcoal filter for your microwave. It is black in color and measures approximately 11 inches by 2 ½ inches. The charcoal filter removes cooking odors from the air that circulates through the microwave vent. You will likely need to replace the charcoal filter if you notice any damage to it, or if it has been in your microwave for a long time. Filter replacement
Was so happy when I was able to find the replacement microwave filter. I took it apart because it's never been changed in 13 years. The microwave was an older model so a lot of parts are discontinued. But so happy with the new filter and it did make a difference with pulling out the cooking air.
