Dryer would not start unless the timer knob was held in a particular position.
REMARKABLE! Found the part easily on PartSelect website--pictures were really hlepful; ordered it and it arrived the next day!!
Unplugged the machine, took out a few screws and took a couple digital pictures of the way the old one was installed (picture is sometimes more accurate than memory). Pulled the wires off the old one, replace with the new one--entire job in probably 10-15 minutes. EASY!

The timer on my dryer would buzz after a few minutes turning the dryer off.
First I unplugged the dryer then I used a nut driver to remove the back of the dryer. I removed two screws to remove the old timer . I replaced one wire at a time until I had all the wires transferred to the new timer.I then replaced the timer with two screws and then replaced the back with eight screws plugged in the dryer and turned it on. It worked just like new. Great price easy job. Thanks

timer was not working
I removed the 5 screws from the back upper cover,
removed the knob on the timer, removed the 2 screws from the rear of the timer, took 1 wire at a time off the old and put on the new, reassembled and tested. Note: I forgot to mention that the first thin i did was unplug the dryer! The repair was fast and easy and the dryer works great.
