How do you get to the ice dispenser arm and motor (under ice bucket) - there is a plastic mold that seems to be wedged in but i cannot seem to remove it? My ice dispenser arm will not turn - motor is running but arm free spins. Regards, scott
For model number KSSC48QVS02
Hi Scott,
Thank you for your inquiry. First remove the door bins to give yourself some room. There are two 1/4 inch screws underneath where your ice maker is sitting. Just above the bin. They are holding in a panel on the underside of that mold you are looking at. You will reveal the motor this way. Remove the motor carefully. The ejector arm will come out with the motor. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The ice bin is not fitting properly on the door and is not dispensing ice. Should a new shaft fix the problem?
For model number KSSC48QTS03
Hi Joe, Thank you for the question. The only way to know for sure would be taking a look at the bin or dissembling the bin to see if there is a damaged part or something that came out of place. You can check the Ice Ejector Bar,Ice Auger and the blades. Hope this helps!
