Housing Specifications
This refrigerator water filter housing securely holds the filter and directs water to the dispenser and ice maker, helping maintain clean, fresh-tasting water while reducing impurities such as chlorine and sediment. It also helps prevent leaks and protects the system from blockages. This part is commonly replaced when there are leaks around the filter, low water flow, difficulty inserting or removing the filter, or an ice maker that isn’t filling. Installation usually takes only a few minutes and involves reconnecting the existing 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch water lines and securing the housing in place.
