Plastic never last eh?
The hinge portion of this inner washer door ring broke with a crack that ultimately end up snapping off, leaving the support holding the glass dome inadequate.... calling for its replacement.
Grateful this is a part that they still manufacture (washer unit is 8 year old) and replacing this part is fairly simple - now the washer operates back in action!
