Flat Beater Specifications
This flat beater is used on stand mixers. It is dishwasher safe, however, should only be washed in the upper rack. The Flat Beater is used to mix batters and light doughs. Should the coating become damaged the beater will become a dull and gray. This part should be replaced when the coating has been damaged.

Was given a very old bvut sturdy Kitchen Aid Mixer missing beaters and having lots of rust on the base.
All I had to do was clean the machine, but the missing beaters were not available at stores. I found the missing parts at PartsSelect and ordered them online. They arrived in two or three days. I had spent two days driving to different stores looking for the parts and found them in my computer. Thanks PartsSelect for great service and having obsolete parts on hand.

Spring latch broke and bowl would wabble around when the mixer was on
I unscrewed the spring latch (I could not find a screw driver- so I used a butter knife) I took the new one and screwed it on........the total time took about 2 minutes!
The best news was that the parts were delivered in 2 days after ordering!!!!!!!!! Amazing!!!!!!!!!!

My white flat paddle is chipping is two places. I'm afraid more will chip off so i want to replace the paddle. How much would shipping be on a $15.32 paddle, and am i sure to get the correct replacement? You show w108073213 and it replaces 416216 and 4169987 none of which i have any numbers to match up. Any help would be appreciated.

The beater that you have listed for my mixer model k5ss states that it is" just under" 8 inches long. The beater that i need to replace measures 7 1/4 inches. Will this one work for me? Thanks.

I replaced the white beater about 18 months ago and the same area on the white beater bottom is chipping badly on the bottom, i am afraid the white chips will get in the food and make people sick.

Thank you for contacting us. The beater is a coated porcelain part. It should not be put in the dishwasher. All beaters, whisks, and dough hooks that go to KitchenAid mixers should be washed by hand. Sometimes if you put your part in the dishwasher it will ruin the outer coating and that is what gives you the chips. There is a non porcelain coated beater available for your model if you wanted to replace the one you have with that. I have listed that part down below for you. I hope that helps. How do i keep the paddle from scraping the bottom of the bowl ? I think that’s why it is chipping.

Hello Janet, thank you for your question. You should be able to adjust the height of the beater to avoid having the part scrap along the bottom of the bowl. I would recommend checking your owners manual with your model information or going online to find the proper steps to adjust the height of the paddle! I hope this helps!

We have a kg25hoxwh professional hd stand mixer and are looking for a flat beater replacement. The beater we have is the barnished metal and is leaving residue while mixing. Is there a replacement beater available that is stainless steel or powder coated that fits this model?
