Do I have to hook up the water lines

There is a noise every once and a while, is that because the water is not hooked up? What do I have to do if I don't, want the icemaker to function.

You will need to reconnect the water supply to the appliance for the fridge to make ice. You will also need to make sure you have a filter in place, PartSelect Number: PS11704498. Hope this helps!
