Whirlpool washer adding water on drain and spin cycle. Leaving clothes soaked. When trying to spin, it will spin on low speed, then triggering flashing red light.Which load is unbalanced. When opening the top cover, i pulled the clothes from the washer, closed the cover back, and pressed drain and spin, now the water is flowing. It looks it is something related to the drum suspension ,dampner or else. Quite a mix up.

Hi Michel, thank you for your question. It sounds like your issue is that your appliance is spinning too slowly. There are a few parts to check but the first part you should look at is your belt. Those parts wear down over time and when they do your tub does not spin fast enough to expel all of the water leaving your clothes soaked. If that part is fine then you may need to go on to also check your pulley, drive hub, and your shift actuator. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
