Hi... I am being told that I need to change my control board. how do I know if I also need to buy the membrane. Is it necessary? how do I know that mine is damaged?
let me tell you what happened... I had my oven in self clean mode and the electricity went out and the oven got stuck.. I was unable to turn the oven on to unlock the oven door... they are telling my the control board is damaged...
what do you think?

Hi vicky, it does sound like the control board needs to be replaced PS2332471. It sounds like a power surge damaged your board, the only way to know for sure would be test with a multimeter. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
