It is an authentic OEM part which is made for DeWALT polishers. The module is an important component which controls the on/off function of the tool. Unfortunately, over time it may wear out and begin to malfunction eventually requiring a replacement. To ensure the correct repair procedure, refer to the owner's manual and the appropriate diagrams for your specific model. Note, this high-quality control module is sold individually. A screwdriver will be needed to take apart the housing in order to remove the old component and secure the new one. Keep in mind, the switch is sold separately.
