Brush And Holder Specifications
This is an authentic replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with planers from DeWalt and Black and Decker. The carbon brush presses against the armature's commutator bars to relay electricity to the armature while it is rotating. The brushes eventually wear out because of the constant contact with a moving part. The brush and holder are sold together, please note two brushes are required.
