The pinion fits between the ball bearing and the ring. This is an OEM DeWALT and Black & Decker part directly sourced from the manufacturer for use in plate joiners and grinders. This is available as an individual replacement part. It may require a screwdriver and a set of pliers during installation. It is made of metal and will need to be replaced if it breaks.
