opened the box , new one was an exact fit, pulled out the old one and dropped the new one in place??, this is more of a review, the new part was the exact same one...perfect!

Old broken-bottom silverware basket
repair is easy, you take the old basket out, you put the new one in. However, what might be helpful information to someone, is that my dishwasher uses the Silverware Basket (Grey), but I also bought Silverware Basket with Lids to see if I could get it in there somehow. Well, somehow is that it fits perfectly across the front of the lower rack. So, major upgrade. More room for silverware, but the lids are great for things like milk jug lids, baby bottle caps, other lids etc. If you have a potscrubber 600 from back in the day (mid 1980s), I suggest you consider the long narrow silverware basket with lids instead of the grey squarish basket.
