Washer is very loud while spinning
For model number WTW8127LC0
PartSelect logo
Hello Troy, thank you for getting in touch. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the transmission, part number PS16730208, to fix the issue. The gearcase contains several gears that work together to control the tub's movement. When these metal or plastic gears become worn, chipped, or broken over time, it could cause loud noises during spin cycle. We hope this solves your problem!

Tab on door strike got broken off and washer would not operate without it.
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
