Sounds like motor running but does nothing. Cannot shut down unless unplugging.
For model number WTW4855HW0
Hello Terry, Thank you for the question. Normally this indicates the Washing Machine Door Lock Assembly could be defective and needs to be replaced. If you disconnect the lock from the control while the unit is turned off, you can test the lock to see if it is in the locked state. If you test the blue wire to the white wire for resistance, if it reads 0 ohms then it is in the locked state. If it reads infinite, then the lock is in the open position. This will help to identify if the lock is in the locked position. If it is in the locked position contact customer service to return the part and a new latch should be ordered. I hope this helps.

Where is the filter and how do I get at it to clean it?
For model number WTW4855HW0
Hi Janet, thank you for your question. The lint filter is located under the basket at the bottom of the outer tub assembly. To access the lint filter, you will need to remove both the agitator and the basket. The lint filter is held in place by a screw. We hope this helps!

Washer won't finish wash cycle and go to rinse
For model number WTW4855HW0
Hello Daron, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend taking a look at the drain hose to see if it is clogged. A clogged drain hose can result in the washer not draining, which causes the washer to not advance in the cycle. Determine if anything is blocking the drain pump, remove the drain pump, and check the pump for obstructions. If the drain pump is not activating at the end of the wash cycle, you may have a faulty drain pump, part number PS11770076, which needs to be replaced. We hope this helps.

Iv changed all 4 suspension rods but washer drum still banging in rinse cycle ,
why?
For model number WTW4855HW0
Hello Darren, thank you for the question. According to our research, the issue is most probably with the basket. We would suggest replacing the basket, part number PS12346246, to solve the problem. We hope this helps!
ordered hub and it shipped quickly. I was able to put the hub in place and screw the screws in. you want to tighten them down slowly and go around to each screw tightening a little at a time so you don't break the hub. as you tighten the screws down the hub slides down flush. its impossible to just push the hub on with your hand. Buttoned it back up and got caught up on laundry. good day when the washer is fixed.
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
