How do i replace the freezer light bulb? The bulb is behind the freezer basket. Is it supposed to turn to get it removed. Do i need to unplug the refrigerator first?

Hello Janice, Thank you for the question. The Bulb PartSelect Number PS11775242 screws into the socket at the front, top of the Freezer section. If changing the bulb doesn't work you may need to replace the Socket PartSelect Number PS12749532 We hope this helps!

Hello Elaine, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number that you have provided and show the LED light assembly that goes in the fresh food section as part# PS12070396. Before starting the repair, make sure the appliance is not plugged into its power source. There will be a Philips head screw that holds the light cover in place. Once removed, pull the cover off from the back. It could be tight so you need a bit of force. There will be two tabs on the left side of the light module to hold the assembly in place. Release the tabs and drop the module down. Unplug the module and do the reverse to put it back together. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.
I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear. This gave me move 'room' to grip and slightly rotate then pull the old filter forward and away from the tight suction connection. I was concerned that I would be too forceful for the plastic assemblies and would break something; deliberate motions and a steady thought process on the problem helped disengage the darned old filter!
