The food in my refrigerator and freezer tasted like it’s exposed to chemical. What is causing this to happen?
For model number WRF767SDHZ00
Hello Westbourne, Thank you for the question. Chemical smells from the fridge mean leaking Freon. We suggest having it checked by a technician. We hope this helps!

The Freezer light comes on intermittently, so I decided to replace the door switch to set if that was the issue. After replacing it the light continued to work for a short period and then returned to coming on intermittently again. The LED light in the freezer was replaced about 6 months ago, is there a light control board that could need to be replaced or could the LED light be going out again. If there are parts you recommend, please let me know the part number.
For model number WRF767SDHZ00
Hi Steve, thank you for contacting us. We have researched the model and would suggest checking the LED light board, part number PS11702378, in the freezer compartment. This board fits behind the light lens and has LED lights that illuminate the interior of the freezer compartments. We hope this information helps!
How do I replace the module that controls the upper lights inside my refrigerator?
For model number WRF767SDHZ00
Hello Michael, thank you for your question. To replace the light module, you may need to follow these instructions:
1. Remove the shelves.
2. Remove the top cover.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector by depressing the locking tab.
4. Remove the lights and take a photo to reference later for the position and orientation of all lights.
5. Locate the locking tabs on the lights, squeeze the tabs together, push the light down to release and run the light back through the opening.
6. Repeat the same procedure for the remaining lights.
7. Once you have removed all lights, follow the same procedure to install new lights.
Good luck with your repair!

Right front roller will not touch the floor when the adjuster is raised.
For model number WRF767SDHZ00
Hi George, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue might be due to improper adjustment of the adjuster bolt in the right front roller, part number PS11755875. We would suggest screwing out the adjuster bolt slightly, to lower the refrigerator on the right front side. We have found a video to help you make adjustments to the roller wheel. We hope this helps!
The ceiling lights in the refrigerator are all out but the lights on the sides still work. Is it a switch problem? Since it is a French door refrig, there are two switches. What part do I need?
For model number WRF767SDHZ00
Hi Gerald, thank you for reaching out. Your issue is not much related to the door switch. The refrigerator LED light, part number PS17216453, will need to be tested. This can be done by opening the door, taping the door switch in the shut position, and removing the LED so that a jumper wire can be used in its place. With a jumper wire in place, open the refrigerator doors. If the LEDs all come on, the freezer LED shorted out and would need to be replaced. We hope this is helpful!
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
Purchased new motor from Partselect.com. When it arrived it came with a new rubber washer that fitted on top of new motor that was not on old motor, that how water got into old motor. However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy. called in a tech who made it look easy, but even he had a little problem locating access panel that was directly under the motor in the freezer side of the door. After that it was a piece of cake.
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
