A noise, perhaps a spinning noise, is coming from the refrigerator section. Behind a white protruding plastic piece. I removed the fan from the freezer section, turned the refrigerator on and it was still making a noise, removed the fan from the back panel on the bottom, still making noise, is there another fan? How do i remove the plastic piece from the refrigerator.

Hi Bob, thank you for your question. You only have the two fans in your appliance. The evaporator fan in your freezer and the condenser fan beside your compressor. If both of those fans do not seem to be causing the issue, you may actually want to look at your water inlet valve. It could be that the noise is coming from that. Good luck with your repair.

Is there a compressor for the fridge & the freezer or is it just one that runs both.? my freezer is fine but the fridge is slightly cool but not cold like it should be. could it be freon
For model number WRF532SMBM01
Hello Jason, thank you for your question. There is only one compressor. When you are having temperature problems in your fridge, there are a few parts that could cause the issue. You can use a multi meter to test these parts. Make sure you cut power to your appliance before doing any repairs or tests. First you should test your defrost thermostat, part number: PS11749348. Place the thermostat in ice cold water for 2-3 minutes after removing it from your appliance. It should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. Another part to check would be your defrost heater, part number: PS11738607. Remove it from the appliance. It should be reading anywhere between 0 - 50 ohms to be working. You could also check your temperature sensor, part number: PS2003772. To find the correct reading for this part you will have to refer to your tech sheet that comes with your appliance. You can usually find this tech sheet behind the bottom grille of your fridge on either the right or left side. These are the most common parts that cause this issue in your appliance. So, it is suggested you check them first. We hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My refridgerator is not cooling at all anymore, but the freezer works fine. What could be the diagnosis?
For model number WRF532SMBM01
Hi Steve, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the air damper assembly, part number PS11756642, as it is most likely faulty. Air damper assembly channels and controls the cold airflow from the freezer compartment into the refrigerator compartment. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance!

My refrigerator is not cooling at all and my freezer works fine. The air damper assembly works fine (opens and closes) and there is no leaks or dust in the back with the panel removed. Any ideas?
For model number WRF532SMBM01
Hello Steve, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the evaporator fan motor, part number PS11773024, to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!

No ice in ice trey
The easiest thing to do was pull the ice make off. After taking the 3 screws out of the wall of the freezer, take a screwdriver (flathead) and push on the tab for the electrical plug and wiggle the cord out. Then you can take 3 screws out for the main cover and another 2 screws on the next cover. There's the part, pop it out and replace holding pins and start the process of putting back together the opposite way you took it apart.
