How do I get to the filter? The front or the back?
For model number WFW94HEXL2
Hello Tammy, thank you for reaching out. You can access the drain filter, part number PS3407147, from the front. To access the filter, the dispenser drawer and housing would need to be removed. Also, the top panel of the washer would need to be lifted. After removing the dispenser and top panel, remove the front door seal clamp and bellow (door boot seal), then unscrew the washer, remove the door latch, and remove the screws to remove the front panel, which will allow you to reach the water pump and remove the filter. We hope this is helpful!

I believe I saw a code F8. Once I google it it states that it was a problem with water heater. Machine made a humming noise. Turned off power and turn back on. Door unlocked switched to cold water and it works. What do I need to do ..
For model number WFW94HEXL2
Hello Franco, thank you for getting in touch. If you are facing F8E1 error code, it indicates that the washer is not detecting any water flow going to the washer. This can be caused by several reasons, including the following: Washer may not be connected to the home water supply. Home water supply valve may not be turned on. Inlet hose to washer may be kinked. Make sure that the washer is connected to the home hot water supply, and that the home water supply valve is fully open (turned on). Verify that the hot water inlet hose to the washer is not kinked. If the problem persists, you will need to replace the water inlet valve, part number PS11752082. Good luck with this repair!

I checked the fault code and get F5E. I then press the second button in the series to put in diagnostic mode and I get C00 or C02 as I have done this several times. Can you help me determine what our issue with of washing machine is?
Thank you!
For model number WFW94HEXL2
Hi John, thank you for reaching out. The F5 error will be displayed if the door is not shut completely. Inspect the door/lid area to see if there is any clothing item or object blocking the door. If this does not help, we recommend replacing the door lock/latch, part number PS11745083, to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!

Washer leaking
Opened the front panel with 3 crews T-25 or socket wrench. Panel comes off right away.
Look for the leak. Determined it was the hose. Use power pliers to remove the clamp.
The small clamp was easy. The big one I had to use my yoga to get to it. It probably would had been easy from the back panel but moving the machine requires brute force.
Once the hose was out I found some bra under wires which is what probably punctured the hose.
Removed the front filter and found a bunch of nails.
Assembly was much easier and placed clamps so that if needed it would be a lot easier to remove and replace.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

One of the hinges broke, making the door sag
Using the Torx Screwdriver, we removed the door from the unit. Then we removed all of the screws on the inside of the washer door. After that we flipped it over and opened it up exposing the inside. We couldn't separate them entirely because there was a screw under the latch piece that we couldn't figure out how to get to. However with all the screws out on the inside of the door, we did have enough room to open it up and access the place cover that holds the hinges in. Once we accessed that we removed the roller tips from the old unit and placed them on the new one. Then we reversed the process. With a couple screws in we realized we had put the hinge in reversed from what it needed to be, so we reopened it and switched it around. Then completed replacing all the screws and reattached it to the washer. It opens and closes perfectly and we saved a couple hundred dollars for sure, as the quote to come out had been a $150 trip charge.
