The control top light stays on. This light tells you that a burner is still on but all burners are off.

Hi Deb, Thank you for the question. The switch that controls the element also controls the indicator light. We suggest replacing the switch that was in use at the time the issue started. We hope this helps!
My front burner is overheating. I just replaced part #814399 but it is still overheating. Do you have another suggestion for another part that might repair this issue for me?

Hello Patricia, thank you for your query. You may need to check the infinite switch to fix the issue. 6 inches infinite switch is part number PS11740774, and the large element burner switch is part number PS11740783. Glad to be of assistance!
