Unit is showing E4 and runs even when door is opened.

Hi Chuck, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the E4 error code indicates an issue with water temperature sensor in the dishwasher. We would suggest replacing the sensor assembly, part number PS12578551, to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
