Bottom freezer stopped everything ruined what do i need to check

Thank you for your question. If your freezer is too warm, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the temperature sensors, the dispenser cover control assembly, the power control board, the evaporator fan motor and the defrost thermostat. This is the Samsung French door refrigerator style that so many people have complained about freezing up and not cooling the top section. I first changed out the defrost thermostat and this did not correct the problem. I done a quick resistance check on the temp sensor that's mounted on the evaporator itself. The resistance would change when holding an ice cube on the sensor so I just assumed it was ok. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When performing a resistance check on this sensor, make sure your readings match the Samsung temp/resistance chart in their literature. My sensor was way off calibration and was causing the freeze up. Its working as designed now and DW is happy again. Learn from my mistake.
removed the front food tray removed the broken ice maker shut off arm from the left side of the ice maker using a short Phillips screw driver, very little room between the ice maker and the side of the fridge. secured the new ice maker shut off arm with the same Phillips head screw, the arm self positions via a locating notch
