There is an electric element on the top of the lower oven, how does this element work? The plug is only 120volt
For model number PCGB980ZEJ2SS
Hello Lescia, thank you for getting in touch. A broiler, designated by the “Broil” setting, uses the heating element in the top of the oven, applying high temps to the top of dishes for quick, high-heat cooking. Baking, on the other hand, uses both the top and bottom elements at a lower temperature. It will operate on 120 volts. We hope that helps!
