Replaced the bearings on mvwb85yw0 and the basket hub is 1/4 inch away from meeting up with the basket. I measured the old parts to see how far the shaft should be sticking up and it seams to be correct.

off balance
For model number MVWB850YW0
PartSelect logo
Hi Jose, thank you for contacting us. If your washer has a vibration, seems to "walk" across the floor, has a thumping or banging noise, or seems off-balance, there may be an issue with the installation, or with the items you are washing. The front and rear feet must be in firm contact with the floor, and the washer must be level to operate correctly. Grip washer from top and rock back and forth, making sure all four feet are firmly on the floor. Repeat, rocking the washer from side to side. If the washer rocks, adjust the leveling feet. If all four feet are in firm contact with the floor, tighten the jam nuts against the base of the washer. Jam nuts must be tight against the bottom of the cabinet. If the washer is installed with a pedestal, ensure the mounting screws are tight, and the pedestal's feet are in firm contact with the floor, and the foot lock nut is tight to the frame. The washer must be level, or it will vibrate. Check the floor for flexing or sagging. Do not install the appliance on a raised wooden platform or a carpeted surface. Let us know if you have further questions!

I replaced the suspension rods, but it still has a little balance problem on the spin cycle. Not as much as before the new rods, but a little. Could there be another problem
For model number MVWB850YW0
PartSelect logo
Hello Robert, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, you may need to check that the load is evenly distributed. If you don't balance the load, the washer will become unbalanced during the cycle. If the issue still occurs, you may need to check that leveling leg, part number PS11753762, to level the washer. We hope this helps!
