Washer stopped after the extract cycle. I unplugged it for several minutes then plugged it back in and the screen is blank. The machine is completely dead. Please advise.

Hello Mike, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue is likely with the UI panel, part number PS16221059. If replacing it does not help, we would recommend replacing the control board, part number PS12745529. It controls the whole functionality of the washer. The Wash/Drain cycle ever completes, after the Power supply Failed & was replaced. Timer never times out & the drum spines at medium speed, till manually shut off.

Fabric softener remains in dispenser, not dispensed
For model number MVW7230HW0
Hello Joseph, Thank you for the question. In most cases this is caused by a clogged Dispenser. Soap can build up and prevent the water from entering the Dispenser to dispense the Fabric Softener. We hope this helps!
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
