When i push start the sensing light goes on the dryer won't start
For model number MEDE251YL0
Hello Anthony, thank you for writing. You will want to consider replacing either the Internal-Bias Thermostat, part number PS11746740, or the Door Catch Kit, part number PS2162263 for your model dryer to fix this. You can test the Internal-Bias Thermostat with a multimeter. The two large terminals on the thermostat should read as closed for continuity, and the smaller terminals should show an ohms resistance value. Good luck with your repair!

The door had always opened with the wrong swing and it wasn't til I needed to repair this that I noticed you could change the swing. I changed the swing of the door and then noticed that the clip was included on both sides so i did not need to repair the catch. I still have the part so when it breaks again, I can just pop it in.
I asked for advise, looked around and priced heating elements and thermostats. This was the best combo offered for the price given. It was shipped and received it very quick. Installed it and 5 minutes later, she was running like a champ!
