It’s working the drummer spinning but not blowing here at all
For model number MDE2400AYW
Hi Julianne,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer is not blowing warm air, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the blower wheel, the heating element and the thermostats. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts and some others as well. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Raman, thank you for your question. The main thing that can cause clothes taking too long to dry is a clogged lint screen or restricted vent. In fact, taking it apart and vacuuming it out everywhere inside is always a good preventative measure. While in there look at the hose and blower wheel. We hope this helps.

Where can I get a belt for my dryer
For model number MDE2400AYW
Hi Beverly, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, the dryer belt, part number PS11741805, is compatible with your model number. Glad to be of help!
Don't pay a repair service for this job when you can do it yourself. Pop the two panels off the back of the machine. The top one is where you'll unhook the old heating element. The bottom one (where the exhaust is) is where you'll need to unhook the broken heating element from it's connector. Place the new heating element's wires down through the back of the machine, plug the wires in (note - this is a 3-prong plug and it should only fit one way - the correct way) to the connector, and re-assemble.
Note: make sure that the exhaust pipe is secured back in its base. Getting the bottom panel back on is a little tricky, but you'll get in after a couple tries!
replaced plastic bushing at rear of unit. all you have to do is have acess to the rear of the dryer, no need to open dryer from front or top. squeeking noise stop but wonder how long the plastic part will last!!!! can not beleive that maytag installed such a low quality bushing. no appliance servicemen want to repair unit when noise first occurred. i replaced the $10 part with help moving the stacked unit down from washer. saved $150 service call.
for this model which is only a three year old maytag elec dryer , had to take complete dryer apart to get to the blower , drum has to be removed and motor has to be removed then all put together again
