Hi there,
Anytime we open the fridge door it beeps. However, I did notice that it's only if we open it to a certain point. I checked to see if the temperatures were set to the correct temperatures and that's not the issue. Any suggestions?
For model number MBR12DSHASS
Hi Sophie,
Thank you for your question. According to the GE website, the door alarm feature helps ensure food preservation is maximized by signaling if the door has been left ajar. When the door has been left open longer than 3 minutes, a beeping signal will sound. The alarm will not sound if the door is open a 1/2 inch to 3 inches. To turn the alarm off, please refer to the instructions in your owner's manual. If you have any questions, please let us know.
