Hello Dan, Thank you for your inquiry. We show that the door for this model is sold as a complete assembly, so we only have instructions for removing the door by taking off the hinges at the top and bottom. We hope this helps you.
The 12" glass shelf on the freezer shattered into 1000 pieces into the bottom drawer. When I opened the freezer door, the glass spewed out into the kitchen.
I want to buy the correct replacement shelf, but I'm also concerned about why this would have happened.

Hello Kathleen, thank you for getting in touch. The freezer door glass shelf, part number PS16662127, is compatible with your model number. Sudden temperature changes e.g., a power outage, door left open, or a hot item placed on the shelf can cause tempered glass to crack. Vibration or impact from heavy items or a hard knock can stress the glass. The glass shelves can also wear out over time. We hope this helps.
I didn't because the part was never delivered. The box was apparently damaged according to the tracking. Your company didn't bother to communicate that they couldn't send another one without a new order. They also didn't give a refund until I contacted them because they are just too busy. Your company was a huge waste of time. Publish that. Go ahead.
