My fridge is not cooling but the freezer works perfect. Inside the refrigerator I can see at the back iced up where the cool air circulate. What might the problem?

Hi Kojo, thank you for contacting us. We would suggest checking the damper control assembly, part number PS11751058. It controls the cold airflow from the freezer compartment into the refrigerator compartment. A faulty damper control may cause too much cold air to enter the refrigerator compartment, resulting in frost build-up on the evaporator coils. We hope this information helps!

Sometimes it quits making ice, sometimes no power at all, sometimes dispenser won't work. All of which can be fixed by unplugging for 5 minutes then plugging back in.But now it's making ice sporadically and also making a humming noise from the back which stops when a door is opened. i'm good at fixing things but don't know what to order. my friend is pretty sure it's the main control board, which looks easy to replace. thanks.

Hello, Thank you for your question. There are a few parts you will want to check into. I would recommend looking into your ice dispenser control board, and the ice maker itself. The humming in the back would typically be a fan issue. You will need to look into your evaporator fan/motor. We hope this helps.

Lights inside refrigerator not working
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.

Ice dispenser motor burnt out, water got inside.
Purchased new motor from Partselect.com. When it arrived it came with a new rubber washer that fitted on top of new motor that was not on old motor, that how water got into old motor. However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy. called in a tech who made it look easy, but even he had a little problem locating access panel that was directly under the motor in the freezer side of the door. After that it was a piece of cake.

while closing the door, the light switch fouled, resulting in the switch breaking
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
