My Kitchen Aid dishwasher door falls open. There is no part matching the description of “spring” or “balance”. How do i fix this problem on this model dishwasher?

Our dishwasher isn’t completing its cycle. It stops have way through then stops and just beeps. We have done the reset by turning off the breaker for a while. Turn it back on, wait a while. Plus we have done the press buttons 3 times to where all lights light up to reprogram it. May work again once or twice, then stops again. Do we need to replace the mother board?

I called an experienced plumber, who balanced and installed my new dishwasher properly, using the brackets I ordered from Parts Select, after an INEXPERIENCED plumber had tossed the factory-provided mounting brackets out with the shipping carton. Relief!
Although the lower rack was a slightly different style than our original, it fit the dishwasher perfectly. We needed to transfer the silverware racks to the new rack and insert one set of removable tines. About 5 minutes and we are very happy with the repair.
