Hello Laura, Thank you for the question. This is normally an indication one or more of the Door Switches are defective and causing a power surge that trips the breaker. You can test each switch with a multi meter to check the continuity. We hope this helps!

When you try to push any button on the main panel it blows the breaker.
For model number JVM3160DF4CC

Hello Robert, thank you for your question. We would recommend testing the thermostats, fuse and door switches in the unit. If those parts are ok, the issue would be most likely with the main control board in the unit. I hope this helps.

Had to replace charcoal filter
Open the front cover by pushing it at the top (where it says “Push”), lifting up and pushing back on top edge of the old filter. Pull it out. Installing the new one is basically just the reverse of those steps! That simple.

Old filter did seem to be a little thicker (filter material), but the new one was the exact same dimensions, so it went in properly. Wish the filter material was white, so you knew just how dirty it was actually getting. But... :-D
