My GE microwave is tripping the breaker ONLY when I opens the door..if I keep the door close & reset the breaker the unit it function OK until I open the door any suggestions model# JVM1635SLJC01..tks Jim

Can you give me the part # for the inside latch assembly, this part holds the 3 micro switchs I believe it is WG02A01011 or WG02FI1718..if i click on the part ((PartSelect #: PS12296627 Manufacturer #: WG02F11718)) # on your site a totally different schematic comes up that has nothing to do with the part in question for...Tks

I think the door switch is broken? The microwave trips the breaker. When we reset it, it appears to be working, but as soon as we shut the microwave door, it trips the breaker again. An electrician has already confirmed that we don’t have a problem with our wiring.

A shorted door switch, part number PS10059191, can be a culprit however, we would also recommend checking the transformer, part number PS12301392, and the capacitor, part number PS10059285. When faulty they can cause the microwave to draw excessive current which can trip the circuit. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. The unbelievable happened. Our glass carousel cooking tray developed a crack. Each day the crack got longer. I ordered a new one on Tuesday and it arrived the next morning just before the cracked one completely cracked. I have never experienced such fast service. I ordered the part and when I recieved it, I saw that I had orderd the wrong size. I called and customer service was very friendly and helped me to get the correct part. they sent the new part out and even though it was christmas hollidays I recieved it the day after Christmas. Great Company
