Took amp reading, which was 2.5 amps, that identified that the igniter needed to be replaced, for the safety valve requires 3.2 amps or better. Replaced, and everything is okay.
No problem getting to igniter in oven to remove from holder. Difficult to disconnect igniter at rear after removing drawer. Just hard to get to. Broke one of the plug-in receivers so had to crimp on a new one. This was a hinged pair that received the igniter lead and another lead that went to another part.
First wrote a wiring diagram then disconnected old igniter by removing two screws and unplugging. Then just reversed the whole operation. However, it never worked because the "oven/broiler" switch broke. Its time for a new stove. But I would recommend PartsSelect to anybody.
