I sent a question yesterday just adding more. The light takes 15-20 on/off pushes of the switch before it lights. While doing this the light flickers but doesn't turn on the light eventually it comes on. My extra question is the fan works every time could it be the power module still? This is an expensive part for an expensive hood fan that is less than 2 years old this is not very impressive of a so called quality product.

Hello Bob and thanks for writing.
In all reality, it should be the switch that needs to be changed problem is the switch is not available. Changing the module is the next option, it is expensive but still cheaper than a new unit. At this point, we would suggest contacting the manufacturer directly and see if they can find a more realistic option for you. Bosch 800-503-5028 We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.
