How can I add fabric softener if I do not have a dispensing drawer?

Hello Marilyn, Thank you for reaching out. You would need to add fabric softener during the rinse cycle. Time the cycles and open the lid at the first of the rise cycle and add the fabric softener then. Pour it directly into the water, avoiding the clothes. You can also pick up a fabric softener ball. Add the ball to the washing machine at the beginning of the cycle. The spinning action of the washer will open the ball's lid during the rinse cycle. We hope this information helps!
