Dryer's heater isn't working; only cold air. Is this an owner reparable fix?
For model number GLET1031CS0
Hello and thank you for writing.
If you are handy it certainly is an owner reparable fix, the first step is to diagnose which part is causing this problem. It certainly sounds like it could be a faulty thermal limiter PS419402 and/or possibly a faulty heater assembly PS2378363, you should check for signs of damage, and replace as necessary. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
Hello Tom and thanks for writing.
Dryer air vent hose clogged with lint. Clean your dryer AIR VENTING HOSE on a yearly basis! It is the reason your dryer takes forever to dry AND can be a fire safety hazard! At times your dryer can overheat, and this can cause the motor that turns the drum to stop working temporarily. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

What is possible cause of oil under washer
For model number GLET1031CS0
Hello Daniel, Thank you for the question. This could be an indication the Tub Seal Assembly is worn and needs to be replaced. If the Seals are good, you may have a defective Transmission Assembly. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

selected correct replacement knob. used small screw driver to remove small black metal sleeve from switch shaft. (had left that in place to be able to turn on dryer with needle nose pliers while waiting on knob). aligned flat of new knob with switch shaft and gently pressed into place.
Googled dryer start knob, Part Select was second site I clicked on, found within 1 min, part was inexpensive, easy to order, arrived quickly and fit perfectly. Excellent online ordering experience.
well, i started at the top and worked my way down. by taking the top off, it gave me more room to get the dryer tub out. took the two screw`s out of the vented plate on the back of the machine to undo the belt. this is a stackable washer-dryer combo, so next i took off the white plate on front between washer & dryer. took off the control panel, unpluged it, then took dryer door front off. then removed the two screw`s that hold that bracket on ,in the back of dryer, pulled the drum out & replaced the belt, but before replacing anything i took the shopvac to it , there was alot of lint in there.when replacing the Grounding Ball Clip & Grounding Ball, i took a one inch by two inch magnet and used it to hold the Grounding Ball & Clip in place so i could get the two screws started in the Drum Support Bearing & Bearing Bracket. after installing that i put the shaft in place & lined the dryer tub up with the 3 screw hole`s ,and boom, bang, pow...nothing to it. it`s easy...parts came very fast....Thx PartsSelect.com...i`ve told all my friend`s about PartsSelect
