Any button you press on the display panel makes all buttons light up and it has 000 on the freezer screen and 000 on the refrigerator screen.

Hi Ryan, Thank you for your question. If the display on your refrigerator is showing 000, you will need to program your control board. To program your computer, follow these steps: 1. Press and hold the Door Alarm Keypad. 2. Press and hold the Freezer Temperature Down Keypad . 3. Release the Door Alarm Keypad and wait 3 seconds. 4. The control will display PE to indicate the programming mode. 5. Entry is confirmed by pressing the Freezer Temperature Down Keypad once more. 6. The control will display the current program code. This value should be validated with the program code printed on the unit serial plate. NOTE: If the program code is correct, the programming mode is exited by pressing Door Alarm Keypad for 3 seconds. 7. Press the Refrigerator Temperature Up Keypad or the Refrigerator Down Keypad to change the digit value with each key press. 8. The decimal point indicates the selected digit. Press the Freezer Temperature Up Keypad to select the next digit. 9. Once the desired program code is entered, press and hold the Freezer Temperature Down Keypad until the program code begins flashing indicating it has been saved. NOTE: If you attempt to enter an invalid program code the control will not save the new code, but will beep. The unit will not run with a program code of 0000. Once the program code has been saved the programming mode is exited by pressing any key. If the new code is incorrect this process should be repeated. The programming mode can be exited at any time by pressing Door Alarm key for 3 seconds. If you leave the display alone for four minutes it will exit the procedure. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I am trying to replace this refrigerator with a similarly sized Whirlpool. All I need to know is what the cubic footage is for this model. It is a French door model with freezer on the bottom. I have tried measuring, but am not sure I am doing it correctly.

Thank you for answering my previous question. I unplugged the refrigerator for five minutes and plugged it in and I still don’t see anything showing up on the display panel. Are there other buttons to push, or an on/off button inside of the fridge to reset? If I press a button on the display, it lights up and it looks like 8’s with periods in between.

The control panel went dark on the front of the refrigerator after a brief power outage. The lights inside the refrigerator are on and the refrigerator and freezer seem to be cooling. The ice maker is also not working. How do I reset the display panel?

My refrigerator stopped cooling and the freezer section stopped freezing
I knew the chances of all the freon leaking out was unlikely so I looked at the wiring to the compressor and there was a capacitor and a starter/overload so i figured I would start there. I went on line and found the parts at this site and they were less than the minimum service call charge for a service tech so I figured what the heck let's give her a shot so I did give it a shot. I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!

Removing the existing filter by rotating as directed and then dislodging from 'docking' station proved difficult. Turns out, the old filter is under a bit of vacuum pressure and getting the unit to separate or release was a challenge.
I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear. This gave me move 'room' to grip and slightly rotate then pull the old filter forward and away from the tight suction connection. I was concerned that I would be too forceful for the plastic assemblies and would break something; deliberate motions and a steady thought process on the problem helped disengage the darned old filter!
