Control panel works. When I hit start I hear a faint click and no power to drum. No sound no nothing. I can manually turn drum. I did take off top and belt appears intact. Trying to fix myself as the earliest someone can service in my area is Dec 17th. Thank you

Hello Kelly, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Door Switch. They can be tested with a Multimeter to check for Continuity. If there is no continuity it can not tell the controls the door is closed and safe to tumble. If the Switch is good, the Motor could be defective. We hope this helps!

Could tell from the sound it was making that it was related to drum rotation. Searched online videos on how to disassemble this model GE Dryer. The Dryer drum rides on 4 rollers. 2 of the 4 of mine were very noticeably loose and made a similar noise when I spun them by hand. Simply replace the rollers and re-assembled.
I could type out instructions, but it's much simpler to just search for the right video online.
