How to replace light bulbs in refrigerator & freezer
For model number FGUS2642LF0
Hello Isaac, thank you for your inquiry. Before replacing your bulb, please unplug your refrigerator. You can replace the refrigerator light bulb by first removing the meat pan, the glass shelf and the light lens behind the shelf. Take out the old light bulb, unscrew it anti-clockwise and replace it with compatible bulb part number PS12712277. Put the light lens, glass shelf and meat pan back. To replace the freezer's light bulb, open the freezer's door, the bulb will be in the back near the top shelf. Remove the cover by sliding it. Remove the old light bulb and replace it with a compatible freezer light bulb part number PS12751166. Put the cover back and plug in your refrigerator. We hope this information helps!
The Freezer is working ok but the Frigidaire isn't keeping the drink's cold. I set the temperature on the fridge and it jump's right back to 78degreesF. Ordered a fan and blade cause the motor looked to me that is was going to slow. What do you suggest I try? Much appreciate your feed back Thanks.

In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.
