My unit powers on, was retaining water, pumped it out and now it appears the pump is not pushing the water out into the drain line
For model number FGID2474QF4B
Hi Mary, thank you for the question. According to our research, we would recommend checking the drain pump, part number PS9492626, to fix the issue. It removes the water from the dishwasher tub during the drain phase of the dishwashing cycle. We hope this helps!

I asked a question yesterday about my Frigidaire gallery dishwasher & you said check the switch assembly. How is this done? Also, i pulled into out the dishwasher today & discovered there was standing water in the bottom pan. What do you think the cause of this is?

Hello Barry and thanks for writing.
For your convenience, we have attached the link to our repair video. We hope this helps. Good luck with your repair

One of the most common reasons for water at the bottom of your dishwasher is because food particles or other debris have clogged the drainage system. Check the dishwasher drain and clean the drain basket around the lower sprayer arm, unclogging debris with a wire hanger. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

Where is the heating element in the dishwasher?
For model number FGID2474QF4B
Hi Cathy,
Thank you for your question. There does not appear to be a heating element listed for this model. The manual for you model notes to run the hot water for a few minutes before running the dishwasher and it mentions to use rinse aid to help dry the dishes. Here is a link to your owner's manual that you may reference for more information, https://usermanual.wiki/Frigidaire/FGID2474QF4B.879389942. If you require more information, you will need to contact Frigdaire. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Control panel defective
Removed the front door panel of the dishwasher by removing screws on the back side of the front door panel. (Keep track of the screw placements as they vary in size) Remove the screws holding the control panel in place. Unplug the control panel connector and remove the defective panel. Reconnect the new control panel and reverse the process for reassembly. (Caution with the door panel and frame may have sharp edges).
