Looking for a Freezer Door replacement Shelf
for this model. I received one but it is too big. Supposedly I need one that's listed as a "4B".
It measures 10.5 long. The one I need is 9.375. Can you provide the part number for the 9.375" Shelf?
For model number FGHS2342LF2
Hi Greg, thank you for reaching out. The compatible smaller freezer door shelf for your model is part number PS430169. The dimensions are approximately 10 inches wide by 4 inches high by 6 inches deep. The freezer door comes with only two types of bins, and the other one measures longer than this one. Refrigerator supplies water but does not make ice! Does the water inlet valve control both functions?? Advise
For model number FGHS2342LF2
Hello Vern, thank you for contacting us. Please make sure the freezer temperature is not above -10 C°. The water inlet valve, part number PS7784018, supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator. Please test the water inlet valve using a multimeter to ensure that it is supplying water with a pressure of 20 or more psi and is continuous. With low water pressure, the ice maker may not make ice. Also, inspect the water filter, part number PS3412266. A clogged filter can reduce water pressure significantly. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the ice maker assembly, part number PS12364147. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
Ice dispenser will not crush ice nor give me cube ice

Hello Synesta, Thank you for the question. If the Ice Maker is making ice normally but not dispensing, this could be an indication the Ice Dispenser Module is faulty. We hope this solves your problem!

Hello Enros, thank you for your question. The Ice Bucket and Auger Assembly is part PS2363742 and we sell it on our website. We look forward to hearing from you.
In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.
Used pliers to remove the residual broken stud that was still attached to the wall of the refrigerator, and then just pushed the new part in place. The longest time was spent in removing the food and crisper drawers.
Even though my wife said that our icemaker broke, there was actually nothing wrong with it. It was the valve that let water flow in during the 'harvest' cycle. A real easy way to test the icemaker without voltage and current measurements, is to fill the tray by hand with a little cup of water; wait till the water freezes and see if the maker dumped the ice into the bin.
