My air condition is very noisy when turned on and its only 4 years old. I never had that problem until there was some construction work done outside my building which I believe that dust went into the vents on top. Please advise. Thank you

This sound may also be caused by a broken motor in the compressor of the condenser system. A screeching or squealing noise may also be caused by a damaged blower fan motor inside your house.
