The Breaker Trips each time the start button is pushed. Not sure which switch needs to be replaced. Top,Middle or Bottom. Thank You

Hi Glenn, thank you for contacting us. This issue might be caused by a faulty door switch. We would suggest checking all three door switches to make sure they are seated properly and checking the continuity with a Multimeter to identify which switch is causing the issue. The part number for the top and bottom switch is PS12071303, whereas the middle switch is part number PS12071302. We hope this information helps!

Is the panel need to be replaced

Hello Hector, Thank you for your inquiry. If you have already tried unplugging the microwave for 15 minutes to see if it resets the control board and the issue is still happening, then we would recommend replacing the complete panel or just the control board. We hope this helps you.

Hello Kamala, thank you for your question. The issue could be with the fuse PartSelect Number: PS12071294 and diode PartSelect Number: PS12071314. Those are the two parts we would recommend testing first. If those parts are ok, the issue could be with the door switches or the main board. We would recommend testing those parts next. I hope this helps.

Hi Clifford,
Thank you for your question. If your microwave is tripping the breaker, it may share the same circuit with some of the other appliances in your kitchen. Plug it into a different electrical outlet and see if the breaker trips. If it does not, then you know it was sharing the circuit with another appliance. If it does, then there is a part inside the microwave that is malfunctioning and causing the breaker to trip. You will need to check the magnetron, the diode, the fuse, and the door switches. For safety reasons, since the microwave capacitor can still store electricity even when the microwave is unplugged, it is usually advised that you discharge the capacitor before any attempt at repair. We have included a link on how to do so, https://www.partselect.com/Microwave+discharge-capacitor+repair.htm. You will also find information on how to test these parts under Free Repair Help and Instant Repairman on our website. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
Remove vent cover then remove touch screen control panel. When you remove control panel take photo of where everything is plugged in then unplug and remove control panel. 3 door switches located next to door in a plastic chassis. Test each switch with current tester. Remove the bad switch and replace with the new one. You tube DIY helped.
First thing I dir was search YouTube for any related videos and found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHj4H9Fdxrc, it was the exact problem my microwave was exhibiting. Once I verified the problem by troubleshooting, I removed the part and verified that the switches were working fine, the door latch assembly showed signs of wear which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!
The diagnosis is about an hour. Coz, I need to open the control panel, got a tester, and trsted all critical parts inside the panel. Also, replaced the fuse just to make sure its a new one. Found out it was a switch (bottom part) that control the open/close of the microwave door.
When found out the problem, the rest of the work is easy.
