Everything on the microwave works. The clock is accurate, it times down, etc., but it does not turn on and heat anything. Is there a fuse or something we can change to get it to work? It is only 7 years old, and we really like this model. Can it be fixed or should we just chunk it in the trash and buy a new one?
For model number FFCE1638LB
Hello Vincent, Thank you for the question. If the fuse was blown, the appliance would have no power. If the appliance has no heat and you can not hear the motor turn on and hum, you will need to replace the Magnetron. We looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with he updated substitution number. We hope this helps!

For model number FFCE1638LB
Hi Teddy, thank you for your question. Unfortunately the only parts still left available for your appliance are your glass tray parts. Sadly that also means we do not have any other information on your appliance specifically. However we do have a few videos on our YouTube channel that show how to get inside of a microwave, it is very similar between models. You can view them here: https://www.youtube.com/user/partselect/search?query=microwave+fuse. Good luck with your repair.
