I bought the wrong unit
The downdraft vent I wanted would rise up 10". The one I ordered went up 15". Looked like the Great Wall of China on our countertop. Dacor tipped me off on the change out of the drive arm and raise arm to make it rise less. The raise arm still proved to be about 3.5" too long so I had to drill a new hole in it and lop off that much steel to make it work. Looks perfect on the rise up now. Thanks
